Imagine a band with two incredibly talented and legendary PNW guitar players together on stage and a harmonica master with a fantastic engine room of a rhythm section and you have "Two Guitars with Jay Mabin."
TWO GUITARS - JACK COOK & CHRIS STEVENS
Excitement happens when two veteran guitarists get together to play the blues. Each has their own style; put ‘em together and the sparks start to fly! They create a textured and driving guitar front, with delicious sounds to tantalize anyone who has ever dug Buddy Guy, Jimi Hendrix, B.B. King or any guitar cranked up and coming out of an amplifier just feet away. Taking turns with vocal duties, Cook and Stevens range through a wide repertoire of the blues. Smooth uptown blues follow funky, raw dance numbers. Chicago shuffles evoke Jimmy Reed and hokum sounds even surface when least expected.
Jay Mabin is a PNW featured harmonica player with a grooving style that can't be beat!
A Two Guitars show is held tightly in place by bassist Mark Dalton and drummer Russ Kammerer, a dedicated and seasoned rhythm section that provides an ample dose of groove power.
