- **Event Description**: Classrooms are great for learning the basics but there’s nothing like actually going out and shooting some pictures in the real world.About this EventWe will meet at the top of Owen Beach Road where the trail crosses the road (see photos below). We'll be shooting mushrooms, mossy logs, banana slugs, and larger scenes on the tree-lined trails to shoot, all taking advantage of the unique lighting that the forest offers.All skill levels welcome!After the walk, we'll meet up at the Grit City Magazine office at 703 Pacific Ave. above Thai Pepper to go through all our photos. Feel free to bring a lunch to eat there or grab something on the way to the office.Heads up: our office is at the top of a long flight of stairs. If you have mobility issues, please reach out first. We have a solution and I'll send you details first.
