We're going to use a ton of materials in our Lab at 309 Puyallup Ave. Imagine building birdhouses, fantasy gardens and even paper mache animals. Over the course of this camp you'll have the opportunity to explore tools, materials and techniques in a safe space. Our camp run from 9am until 1pm. We will provide some snacks and refreshments during breaks from building. Please send a lunch if necessary and any foods that meet your childs dietary restrictions.The cost, $250, for this camp covers the facilitators, the space, materials, snacks and scholarships. I am a third year student at the University of Washington, majoring in Multilingual/Language in Education, with a minor in Japanese. As someone who speaks both English and Spanish I developed an interest in how language impacts learning, inspiring me to pursue studies in Education. I have previous experience working with children from volunteering at an early childhood education center where I was able to learn how to create a fun and supportive learning experience.
