Doors open at 7:00 PM and the show starts at 7:15 PM  to allow time for a Q&A with Josiah after the film!

Tickets will be $20 and will be sold at the door only; proceeds will benefit Point Defiance AAZK’s hosting of the 2026 AAZK National Conference.  

The film’s creator, Josiah Olmstead, tells the story of his grandfather Dick Sweeney, who was one of the seven founding members of the American Association of Zoo Keepers, interwoven with the history of the animal care profession as it has evolved over the past 60 years.  It is incredibly moving - there is also a brief cameo by Suki the elephant!
