- **Event Description**: Join us for the Linocut Printmaking Workshop and unleash your creativity by carving and printing your own designs!About this EventLinocut Printmaking Workshop #7Join us for our hands-on Linocut Printmaking Workshop at the Tacoma Armory, Suite 15! Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, this workshop is perfect for anyone interested in learning the art of relief linocut. Tacoma printmaker, Yoshi Nakagawa, will guide you through the process of carving your design into 4"x6" linoleum blocks and creating unique prints. If you have time to prepare before the workshop, please bring a 4”x 6” rough sketch of an image you’d like to work with. We will transfer the one-color image on the block, carve, and handprint proofs and at least two washi (mulberry paper) prints with oil-based ink. We can add color with water-based pigments. This is a technique you can do at home once you have the materials and even print on textiles and fabric. Don't miss this opportunity to unleash your creativity and make beautiful prints to take home!
