Create your own unique collage art using paper and acrylic with Barbara De Pirro!

Learn techniques perfect for wall art, cards, and book arts. Barbara will share ideas using a range of different papers (painted, printed, found, and commercial). Collage is one of Barbara's favorites – it can be very carefree, spontaneous, and playful. In this workshop, we'll explore some simple composition ideas that will act as a springboard for you to discover your own creative style.

Barbara will share samples, demonstrate the process, answer questions, and work with artists individually during the workshop. Each artist will create multiple small collages during the workshop.

A summary will be provided afterwards so that artists can continue their exploration independently. All materials will be provided, however feel free to bring any papers you'd like to experiment with. Bring a box lid or tray to transport wet artwork home. Dress for mess!

This event will be upstairs in our classroom (no elevator available).
