- **Event Description**: The City of Tacoma is beginning the 2025 Historic Preservation Code Amendment process, which will update the historic preservation related portions of the Tacoma Municipal Code (TMC).

Historic Preservation staff will hold community information sessions on the proposed amendments to the Historic Preservation Code portions of the TMC. These code revisions are a result of policy amendments to the Historic Preservation Chapter of the Tacoma Comprehensive Plan, changes to state law recently signed by the Governor, as well as priorities identified by stakeholders including citizen commissions and staff.

This in-person information session will have light refreshments provided.
