Heritage Skills Workshop: Basketry

(Age 18+) Inspired by a Colonial-era original, this basket is a timeless keeper of everyday essentials, crafted to tuck away life’s little necessities while keeping them close at hand. With a filled base of 8" x 3½" and 11" sides, it’s sized for versatility, whether perched by the hearth or nestled on a porch bench. The sturdy leather handle adds a touch of rustic elegance.
In this class, we’ll weave this piece together, honoring tradition while creating something beautifully functional for modern life. All supplies and materials are provided.
