This tour enters the Foss Seaport Museum after dark and offers up some of the best ghost stories the Tacoma waterfront has to offer. From shipwrecks to sea-monsters, we will dive into the mysterious events of Commencement Bay. This hour-long tour meanders through the haunted hall of the old Balfour Dock building and lets you access the locked archives. You will get to see over 100 years of maritime artifacts and hear the ghost encounters of the staff as you walk in the shadow of history. 

Please note that there are 2 separate tour times a 6PM tour and a 7PM tour.

The name Foss Waterway Seaport was adopted in 2005 when the vision for the project grew beyond a heritage museum.
"The centerpiece of this historic district is a century-old wheat transfer facility, known as the Balfour Dock building. It is one of two remaining wooden warehouses originally built as a mile-long complex in 1900. These warehouses, known as the “mile-long wheat warehouse,” were built to accommodate cargo-carrying, square-rigged ships that frequented the port during the early years of Tacoma’s history. The wharves hosted many beautiful sailing vessels, as well as steam- and diesel-powered cargo traders well into the 20th century." - Foss Seaport Museum 

TICKETS ARE $30 and MUST BE PURCHASED ONLINE

A portion of the proceeds will go to the Seaport to ensure the longevity and success of their programs.
