We are proud to bring John's 4-piece Jazz and Funk band to The Spar for our weekly Funky Jazz WEDNESDAY Series. You are in for a great night of original instrumentals as only the John Kessler Band can bring!

A professional bassist for over 20 years, John has been at KNKX since 1999 where he hosts All Blues on Saturday and Sunday nights. John was senior producer of BirdNote for 19 years, and for more than a decade was the primary recording engineer for hundreds of KNKX Studio Sessions. He also had a 15 year stint as Musical Director of the Mountain Stage radio program.
