NORÐAN – Ein tónleikalig ferð yvir havið

Føroyska fióltónaskaldið Angelika Hansen og keltiski harpuleikarin og myndamaðurin Thomas Loefke hava skapt eina heilt serliga sansaferð .

Við íblástri úr Føroyum og Írlandi, og við rótum í bæði norðurlendskum og keltiskum tónleiki, lata tey okkum ferðast við fiol, keltiskari harpu og myndatøku! Tónleikurin er bæði mildur og máttmikil eins og Norðuratlantshavið. Stundum stilt sum summarkvøld, stundum hart sum stormur úr vesturi.

Tey hava givið út tvær fløgur á Tutl: Norðan og Norðan2. Og báðar eru ein ómetaliga vøkur samanrenning av livandi ljóði og visuellum stemningum.

NORÐAN – A Musical Journey Across the Ocean

Faroese violinist Angelika Hansen and Celtic harpist and photographer Thomas Loefke have created a truly unique sensory voyage.

Inspired by the landscapes and traditions of the Faroe Islands and Ireland, and rooted in both Nordic and Celtic music, they invite us to travel through sound and image – with violin, Celtic harp, and atmospheric photography. Their music is as gentle and powerful as the North Atlantic Ocean itself – at times calm like a summer evening, at other times wild like a western storm.

They have released two albums on Tutl: Norðan and Norðan2 – both breathtaking fusions of live music and visual moods.
