About the event

Teaching Kitchen: Cooking for a Healthy Colon
Please join us for a colon-healthy cooking demonstration at the Nappi Wellness Institute (Room 2151/2153)!

Upstate colorectal surgeon Kristina Go, MD, will discuss the importance of colon health and colon screening.

Upstate Executive Chef Dillion McNatt will prepare the food and guide participants as they follow along.

Upstate Cancer Center registered dietician Katie Krawczyk, MA, RDN, CNSC, will explain why the ingredients are important for colon health.

At-home colon cancer stool kits are available for all participants 45 years and older.

This event is free and open to anyone in the community. Parking will be validated.
