It’s basically Columbo in 1949 with a comedic twist.Jeff Bryant, an amazing filmmaker and SAS Tech Committee Chair, will be producing and directing the docu/mockumentary about the making of the film at the same time. It’s going to be a lot of fun! Both films will premiere at SASFest 2027!Every actor will get to be a part of the films either as cast or crew (and crew will be cast for the mockumentary). All actors & crew will be required to sign an image & liability release before shooting. We will post details about casting & crew calls, costumes, props needed, the script (it’s really a scriptment), and other announcements related to the film and what you will need to be part of it. There are some written lines but room for a lot of improv acting.Feel free to reach out to Joe Cunningham, Producer/Director, if you have any questions or concerns, only after you have read the script (see link below), details, and other casting notifications in the event posts at jcunningham3021@gmail.com. You can find the script on the Syracuse Actors Studio Facebook page at: (2) FacebookFilm credit and IMDb credit are provided. No payment is available to any cast or crew, as this is an independent, micro-budget film. No free food is provided, but concessions are available for purchase to support our host, The Palace Theatre.M**der at the Movies Scriptment Link is: M**der AT THE MOVIES - DRAFT 2.2.pdf - Google Drive https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events2/banners/dc753e90-c413-11f1-961b-edf15f9dca82-rimg-w493-h740-dcf8f8f8-gmir.jpg Image by Courtney Burns.
