We watch a video about TV show acting at the beginning, then break into acting teams with scripts for scenes from famous TV shows and prepare them. Then we come back and perform them for the group (with scripts in hand). Then we watch the playback together and enjoy! It’s really fun! Learn by doing. Special thank you to our member Steve Suppa, who came up with it.If you have an idea for a TV show episode/scene, please email Joe Cunningham jcunningham3021@gmail.com. Joe & Laura will be compiling and printing the scripts for the scenes soon. We can’t guarantee every idea will be used, but we can definitely take suggestions. All genres are welcome. Scenes will be selected with discretion. (Note: What's most helpful is if you have found a link to/PDF of a script, which are hard to find, except for Seinfeld.)All are welcome! SAS is open to actors of all levels and backgrounds; whether you’re a seasoned pro or just starting out, you are welcome to come and participate or observe. There is no barrier to entry. Please note: No performances this session (monologues, scenes, etc.) because the whole session is performance-based.Also, we are looking for volunteers to help with setup/breakdown/cleanup; the welcome committee; tech support; photography; catering; and merch.
