“Lucky Numbers (Live at The Pantry)” is the latest EP from songwriter Jon Lunden. It is a live-tracked, sparse, five-song cycle that is equal parts gutting and restorative. Rich lyricism accompanied by trailing finger style guitar parts and wonderfully crude vocal deliveries. From the otherworldly humors of “Toadapple” to the wide open, visceral purge that is “Lucky Numbers”, this EP is a modern trove of vintage storytelling.
