Illumination 2025

Illumination is a free community event that focuses on what we can do daily to support and improve our mental health and well-being. Youth groups from our community teach their peers different topics that support our mental health in a fun and interactive way. A key message of Illumination is that we all have a "spark" inside of us - that thing that gives our life meaning and purpose. When our youth find their spark, nurture it, and are allowed to let it grow they have higher grades and better attendance in school, are more likely to be socially competent, volunteer more in helping others, have a sense of purpose in their life, and are less likely to experience depressive symptoms.
