The Skilled Trades: Carpentry

The Skilled Trades: Carpentry Workshop (Ages 10+) Fee:$10

Join us for a hands-on workshop designed to spark interest in the skilled trades—starting with Carpentry! Students ages 10+ will learn essential basics, including tool safety and proper use, as they build their very own wooden birdhouse. All supplies are provided, and no experience is necessary.

Along the way, participants will also explore real-world career paths in carpentry and related skilled trades, gaining insight into the importance of these professions in our communities. This workshop is a fantastic way to build confidence, practical skills, and awareness of opportunities in the trades.
