Who is Lora Meyers?
She is a Third Degree Reiki Master, certified trauma-informed yoga facilitator, and have 200-hour Kundalini Yoga Teacher training. Her work lives at the intersection of nervous system science, somatic practice, and spiritual integration. She has been teaching and facilitating in both clinical and community settings throughout her career. 

Most people who struggle to rest learned that stopping wasn’t safe. This workshop addresses that directly.

In 90 minutes, participants will move through a guided experience that combines accessible nervous system psychoeducation, gentle somatic movement and breath practice, guided meditation, journaling, and group reflection, closing with a group Reiki experience.

What participants will learn:
Why rest feels hard and why it has nothing to do with willpower. How the nervous system’s fight, flight, and freeze responses keep the body activated long after the stressor is gone. Simple, portable somatic tools they can use on their own between sessions and after the workshop ends.

What participants will experience:
A chance to exhale. This workshop is designed so that the shift happens during the experience itself, not just as information to take home.
