Peer University is a no-cost program that provides 20 contact hours* recognized by the North Carolina Certified Peer Support Specialist board. This program provides a toe dip into the world of peer support, exploring topics such as peer support 101, harm reduction, recovery messaging, motivational interviewing, verbal de-escalation, resource navigation, and more.

*This is NOT the 50-hour course required for PSS certification, but these 20 contact hours can be used towards the additional hours required for certification.
