Business competitions often begin with ideas on slides. ShowCase 1.0 is designed to take participants beyond that.

Organized by AIBA Business Club, Sylhet, this national business case competition is built for students who want to test their strategic thinking, creativity, communication, and problem-solving ability in a setting that feels closer to the real world. Through multiple stages, participants will move from structured case analysis to creative business communication, and finally into a field-based challenge that asks them to engage with actual business realities and respond with practical solutions.

▪️ Open to undergraduate and postgraduate students from UGC-approved universities across Bangladesh

? Round 1 - Mind Show (Online)
The competition begins with the main business case-solving round. Teams will be presented with a real-world business or marketing problem and will be required to develop and submit a complete solution through a presentation. This stage is designed to test analytical ability, structured thinking, strategic planning, and the ability to turn ideas into clear, practical recommendations. It is the round where participants establish the strength of their thinking and earn their place in the next stage.

? Round 2 - TV Commercial (Online)
Shortlisted teams from the first round will move into a more creative challenge. In this stage, participants will create and submit a TV commercial based on the given theme. This round evaluates how well a team can translate insight into communication. It brings together creativity, storytelling, branding sense, audience understanding, and message delivery, making participants think not only like problem-solvers, but also like communicators.

? Final Round - Field Show (Offline at Army IBA Sylhet Permanent Campus)
This is the defining stage of ShowCase 1.0.

Instead of working only from a hypothetical brief, finalist teams will step into a live business environment and take on a challenge grounded in firsthand experience. Participants will visit actual business locations, identify key pain points, conduct in-depth analysis, and present actionable solutions based on real market challenges. All members of each finalist team must take part in the fieldwork and the final presentation.

This is what gives ShowCase 1.0 its distinct edge. The final round asks participants to go beyond prepared slides and respond to business realities with observation, judgment, adaptability, and execution. It is built to reflect the kind of thinking that matters outside the classroom.

ShowCase 1.0 is designed to give participants more than a competitive title. Through the full journey of the event, participants will have the opportunity to:
