This fascinating lecture will explore the remarkable careers of Achille Simonetti, Giovanni Fontana, and Tomaso Sani, three master sculptors whose works transformed Sydney's public spaces and some of its most iconic buildings.From the grand statuary of Bridge Street and the General Post Office to monuments in public parks, their sculptures left an enduring mark on the city's landscape, sometimes even provoking public debate.
