Together, these works have helped shape one of Australia's most influential mixed-use urban precincts, demonstrating how architecture, landscape and hospitality can foster enduring public life.Building on its contribution to Fish Lane Town Square, Richards and Spence is currently collaborating with Bates Smart on Melbourne Street, a major mixed-use development for Aria Property Group, now under construction.Most recently, the practice completed 205 North Quay, a landmark commercial tower for Cbus Property in collaboration with Hassell and REX. Across its work, the practice has developed a quietly reductive architectural language—one grounded in structure, climate and material permanence.
