Meetup - fuel your morning with creativity, caffeine & inspiration before heading in to work.About this Event**THIS EVENT IS IN PERSON IN SYDNEY**Susan Hansen will be reflecting on her own design and research practice– two decades of tackling complex challenges across government, health, education and tech– and how she has leveraged visual storytelling, time and time again, as an effective tool to test ideas, capture experiences, and engage with others to solve for positive change together. Her most recent collaborative endeavour, developing an ai ethical monitor for design research, has taken her to New York to test the concept; she will showcase how visualisation has helped her communicate and test this tool at very early stages of development.ABOUT THE SPEAKER: SUSAN HANSENSusan Hansen is an Associate Professor in the School of Cybernetics and School of Computing. Embracing a love of research, teaching and industry practice, Susan is an advocate for designing inclusive digital experiences at ANU.Susan was introduced to human-centred design in her first role at CSIRO and since this time has focused her career on designing systems, services and products that are useful, useable and used. Susan has worked for a variety of consulting agencies, start-ups and universities across Asia, South Africa and Australia.
