To the Australian Government:

STOP all weapons exports to Israel immediately

HALT military cooperation with forces committing war crimes

INVESTIGATE foreign interference in Australian politics, including AIPAC lobbying

PROSECUTE politicians who put foreign interests above Australian law. Incarcerate AIPAC lobbyists and any Australian politicians who have taken bribes or political donations from Israel or the USA

HOLD ACCOUNTABLE security agencies that target vulnerable Muslims while arming extremists

ESTABLISH a Citizen-Led Commission of Inquiry into whether ASIO and the AFP either orchestrated or allowed the Bondi Beach attacks to happen

WHY A CITIZEN-LED COMMISSION?

The government's proposed Royal Commission is insufficient. A Royal Commission is a government-appointed body, and its members are often part of the same establishment that has failed to hold the powerful accountable. We have seen this with the lack of meaningful consequences for figures like Prince Andrew, despite public outcry and evidence of misconduct.

We demand a truly independent commission. The selection process must be completely free from wealth and political influence. A person is a competent, qualified authority if they have proven their moral integrity and their capacity to improve the lives of those around them. Money must be irrelevant to this process.

THE FEBRUARY 7th POLICE BRUTALITY

The extreme police violence we witnessed on February 7th at Sydney Town Hall was not a response to crimes committed by protesters. It was a crackdown on peaceful dissent. Our state is becoming more authoritarian because our elites cannot afford to face consequences for their atrocities.

Many of them are complicit in genocide. Many have taken bribes. Some may be compromised by a genocidal regime with a documented history of corruption. Meanwhile, they are stealing our children's future. Young people can look forward to being poorer, sicker, and more isolated. The cost of living will continue to rise. Jobs will grow more scarce. Our so-called "leaders" are doing little to stop any of this.

TARGETING MUSLIMS WHILE ARMING EXTREMISTS

There are well-documented examples of federal police and intelligence agencies in the USA, UK, and Australia entrapping or tricking Muslim people into plotting terrorist attacks. They have frequently targeted people with intellectual disabilities, neurodivergent individuals, young people, and those experiencing poverty.

The Thomas Carrick Case

Recently in Australia, there was the case of Thomas Carrick, an autistic 13-year-old Muslim child who was groomed into plotting a terrorist attack by the Australian Federal Police and ASIO. The judge permanently suspended the case out of sheer disgust for the misconduct of the AFP and ASIO.

Nobody was held accountable. And nobody will be—unless we demand it.

This is blatant incitement of hatred towards Muslims. These agencies are deliberately inflating the threat of Islamic extremism in order to scapegoat Muslims and rationalize military aggression towards Muslim people, including the genocide in Gaza. This is also reckless endangerment of the Australian public, creating terrorist threats where none previously existed. These are grave violations that demand accountability.

Whatever criticisms one might have of any culture or religion, none can justify this overt dehumanization of Muslim people. It is on par with Israeli media repeatedly calling Palestinians "animals" or "vermin."

The Bondi Beach Attackers

A recent ABC Four Corners episode interviewed a former ASIO agent who monitored the Akram pair, the Bondi attackers. The agent revealed that he had clearly informed ASIO that the duo were dangerous extremists since at least 2019. Yet ASIO still granted them approval for gun licenses.

The agent boldly stated: "If I'm lying, ASIO should sue me for defamation." Instead of explaining themselves to the ABC, ASIO threatened the program.

They trick vulnerable children into being labeled as terrorists. Then, when they encounter actual potential terrorists, they give them gun licenses.

It appears they are manufacturing excuses to impose authoritarian measures and shut down the Intifada movement—a movement that is purely humanistic in character and not criminal in any way.

LESSONS FROM MINNESOTA

The media hasn't given it much attention, but the ICE OUT general strike in Minnesota has been remarkably successful. Of the 3,000 ICE agents that Donald Trump sent to the state, the vast majority have been removed. Many people arrested without warrants, including refugees, have been released.

ICE was openly lying about their excuses for arresting people. Australian police have been doing the same. At the February 7th Town Hall protest, there was not a single protester who was violent who was not using force defensively. Many were arrested without using any force at all.

The reduction of ICE presence in Minnesota may not be a perfect solution, but it is a solid start. We should strongly advocate for this kind of general strike until the malign influence of any foreign elite is removed from Australian politics.

On Jewish Solidarity

Many good Jewish people also oppose this genocide. These anti-genocidal Jews can be formidable and highly persuasive allies who demolish arguments in favor of the destruction of Palestinian lives. The vast majority of Jews are good people. There is a tiny elite cabal who give the rest a bad name. Conflating these two groups is, in itself, extremely antisemitic.

AN IMPORTANT LEGAL PRECEDENT

The acquittal of Palestine Action activists sets an important precedent: destroying weapons facilities supplying Israel can be legitimate defensive action. International law requires states to prevent genocide—including stopping weapons production.

The police and intelligence agencies can lie to rationalize their crimes. But judges, juries, and well-organized protest movements can overrule them.

📢 SAFETY FIRST

Authorities have used force at similar protests. Please prepare:

*Eye protection: Chemical splash goggles are ideal; swimming goggles are acceptable

*Ear protection: Ear plugs for sonic weapons

*Clothing: Thick, padded layers

*Nylon cable ties and rope: These can be used to restrain and arrest police officers who aggressively assault protesters—such as those who sneaked up behind people who were praying. We cannot allow them to attack women, children, and the elderly without consequence.

*Buddy system: Attend with others and share contact details

*Know your rights: Legal observers will be present, police officers can indeed be charged with assault. You using defensive violence to stop them sneaking up behind Muslim people while they pray and attacking them is perfectly ok and legal. They were blatantly in the wrong. They even gave those Muslim people permission to pray beforehand.

*Water: Stay hydrated

⚖️ THE LEGAL RIGHT TO DEFEND YOURSELF

They will lie about this too. Know the law.

Defensive violence is legal in virtually every legal system on earth—including Australia's.

- If you are attacked, you may defend yourself with reasonable force

- If you witness a violent crime (rape, assault, murder), you may intervene

- Citizens' arrests of violent criminals are protected under law. We can and should arrest police officers who violently assault us

- International law recognizes the right to resist genocide

The Palestine Action acquittal confirms this. A jury looked at activists destroying weapons factory equipment and said: not guilty. When a state facilitates genocide, citizens have the right to stop weapons production.

When police assaulted peaceful Muslims praying on February 7, 2026, witnesses had the legal right to intervene and make citizens' arrests.

We do not seek aggression. We do not initiate violence. But if we are attacked, we have the right to defend ourselves and others. The law is on the side of those defending life.

WHY WE PROTEST

THE GENOCIDE MUST STOP

Australian-made weapons are being used in Gaza. International law experts, human rights organizations, and UN officials have presented evidence that Israel's military campaign meets the threshold for genocide. Australia is legally obligated to prevent genocide—not enable it.

THE EPSTEIN FILES: ELITE CORRUPTION EXPOSED

The released Epstein documents reveal a global network of corruption involving presidents, princes, billionaires, and intelligence agencies. While Australian politicians are not directly named, the files expose a system where the powerful operate above the law. This is the same system that lets foreign lobbies buy influence in our parliament.

THIS MOVEMENT IS ABOUT ALL OF US

The genocide in Gaza is not separate from the cost of living crisis. It is not separate from unaffordable housing, stagnant wages, and insecure work. It is the epitome of how little the elites value ordinary human life.

When they send billions to fund slaughter, they tell you there is no money for healthcare, education, or public housing.

When they protect weapons manufacturers, they tell you there are no jobs—while corporations offshore your work and pocket the profits.

When they criminalize protest, they tell you that your voice does not matter.

But it does.

The same system that bombs Palestinian children is the system that prices you out of your own city. The same politicians who take foreign bribes are the ones who cut your services and call it "tough choices."

When will they make the cost of living affordable?

When will they ensure abundant, secure jobs?

When will they treat us with dignity?

They will not. Not until we force them.

Palestine is where we draw the line. If we let them get away with genocide, they will know they can get away with anything—here, to us, next.

FOREIGN INTERFERENCE IS REAL

For years, politicians from both major parties have accepted sponsored trips, donations, and inducements from foreign lobbies. Independent MPs and transparency advocates have documented:

- Undisclosed foreign donations

- Lobbyists operating with no oversight

- Politicians prioritizing foreign interests over constituents

- Inquiries into foreign interference being ignored

📜 HISTORY WILL ASK

What did we do while our government facilitated genocide?

What did we do while our institutions targeted Muslim children and armed extremists?

What will we tell our children?

I ask this genuinely, not as an accusation. We are all not doing enough. We are failing to stop the tyrants who rule over us. I feel genuinely guilty that I am not doing more to stop these crimes. I believe many other Australians feel the same.
