Australian National Maritime Museum hosts the world’s leading ocean photography competition, Ocean Photographer of the Year presented by Oceanographic Magazine and Blancpain.
Explore breathtaking images selected from more than 15,000 submissions worldwide, from intimate underwater close-ups to sweeping drone vistas, each revealing the ocean’s wonder and the urgent need to protect it.
Highlights include
Overall Winner: Yury Ivanov (Indonesia), capturing two 3mm “ladybugs of the sea” in an unforgettable macro moment.
Australian winners Marcia Riederer (Fine Art) and Craig Parry (Human Connection).
