This popular annual celebration aims to encourage local garden enthusiasts to showcase their skills and creativity.

The competition offers residents a unique opportunity to display their gardening talents and hard work, both in public and private spaces and help raise funds for the maintenance of the historic Hillman Orchard, located beside Vienna Cottage in Alexandra Street, Hunters Hill.

Competition entries are open until Tuesday 14 October. 

The Open Garden Day welcomes visitors to enjoy the splendours of the winning gardens as well as some of Hunters Hill's most iconic private gardens and historic estates.

The Open Garden Day will take place on Sunday 9 November from 10am, commencing at the Hunters Hill Town Hall forecourt.
