Antenna DocTalk, one of the key events on the Australian documentary calendar, is back in 2019 with yet more industry wisdom to impart. DocTalk is a full day event, featuring a curated program of master classes and panels from a range of leading international filmmakers and industry figures. Directors, producers, programmers, distributors, funders and other key stakeholders provide unique perspectives and insider knowledge on what’s happening right now across the industry.
Speakers this year include Anne Köhncke, two-time Oscar®-nominated producer behind films such as Joshua Oppenheimer's The Act of Killing, high-profile distributor Orly Ravid from The Film Collaborative, Kellen Quinn, producer of the multiple-award winning Midnight Family and Sowon Kang, a senior programmer at the prestigious Busan International Film Festival. Joining them are award-winning filmmakers Agostino Ferrente (Selfie), Rachel Leah Jones (Advocate), and Beniamino Barrese (The Disappearance of My Mother) who will discuss their approach to personal filmmaking. After a day full of inspiring talks, Antenna, in partnership with UTS, will host industry networking drinks for all attendees and presenters.
DocTalk will take place on Tuesday 22nd October 2019 at Palace Central (Chippendale). Limited Early Bird tickets are available until 12 September. To book tickets and find out more, visit: http://antennafestival.org
