The Bluebelles ukulele group will perform beloved songs from the 30s through the 50s.Visitors can explore the Mayfield Monarch Waystation and learn about the native species of plants and butterflies that call it home. Waystation gardeners will be available all day to answer questions and guide visitors. From 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., experts from the Rock River Valley Chapter of Wild Ones will present “Why Native Plants Matter: Supporting Biodiversity and Wildlife in Our Own Yards.”Country Road Greenhouses of Rochelle will offer native plants for sale all day, so you can go home with pollinator plants to beautify your own yard.Founded in 1860 and originally a stop on the Underground Railroad, today Mayfield Church’s historic roots ground a forward‑looking mission that supports our community through hospitality, service, and care for Creation. Mayfield is an Open and Affirming (ONA) congregation, affirming that God welcomes and loves all people.
