Do you like animals? Do you like cake? Do you want to make cake that looks like other things and make it SOOOOO realistic people will not be able to comprehend? Yes! Then step this way….
On Sunday 19th April 2026 i’m holding another one day workshop where you’ll create your very own living breathing (almost) tortoise! Complete with super realistic edible sand and maybe even a sugar lettuce leaf if you work fast enough!
This course is a one day class (10am to 5pm) and will teach you how to create hyper real sculpted cakes like a pro. You’ll work with real cake before crumbcoating, covering with sugarpaste, working in textures and details and finally airbrushing and hand-painting your very very slow friend!

Class will start at 10am so please arrive at 9.45am so we can set up and be ready to start at 10am. Class will finish by 5.30pm at the latest.

This class is wonderfully creative and will give you all the confidence and skills you need to dive into the incredible and incredibly addictive world of hyper-real cakes!
You will be asked to bring with you a 8 inch round cake. Full recipes and assistance will be provided to help you with this.

Places are limited to 12 so that I can work 1-2-1 with each and every student throughout the class.

Your class will start at 9am sharp so please arrive at 9.30am to give yourself time to unload and settle in. Class will be finished by 5pm. There is on site parking for several cars or a nearby carpark as well.
Everything will be provided including boards, boxes, paste, buttercream etc. I just ask you to bring a cake so you can cater for individual tastes and dietry requirements (full recipes and assistance are provided) There will be tea, coffee and biscuits too! You can either bring lunch or go to the local shop for a sandwich at lunch time.
