From 11am to 3pm, he’ll be available for informal chats, and will also deliver a heartfelt talk reflecting on his experiences, challenges, and the importance of visibility, resilience, and community support.This is a chance to deepen understanding, break stigma, and stand together in solidarity. Whether you're looking to learn, connect, or simply listen, all are welcome.

About Joshua Anderson:

Joshua, who was born and raised in Swindon, is an HIV activist, software engineer, and dedicated volunteer who has been providing peer support to people living with HIV in London and the South West of England for nearly a decade.

Since his own diagnosis over ten years ago, Joshua has worked with various HIV organisations, offering mentorship, facilitating support groups, and delivering workshops for newly diagnosed individuals. In 2015, he participated in "Through Positive Eyes," an international photography project documenting the lives of people living with HIV, and in 2021, he participated in the "We Are Still Here" photography project.

Joshua has volunteered at Swindon's sexual health department on Islington Street, providing peer support to people living with HIV. He has also helped co-produce research into the impact of COVID-19 on people living with HIV. He is currently a trustee for two HIV-related charities: one nationally with the British Association of Sexual Health and HIV, and the other, Brigstowe, based in Bristol.

Joshua is passionate about education around HIV and supporting people living with HIV more generally.
