Drop-in Lantern Making workshop

Drop in and join us at Swindon Central Library for a FREE relaxed and crafty lantern making workshop!

Get into the festive spirit by crafting your very own lantern to help us transform a vacant shop into a magical lantern forest for everyone to enjoy.

Your creations will be on display as part of this unique art installation as part of Swindon Winter Fest - a magical day of community, creativity and culture for all - on Saturday 22 November.

This event is perfect for all skill levels - you can be a complete beginner or a seasoned lantern maker.

All ages are welcome, but parents will need to supervise and support children in making a lantern.

No need to book - drop in and join in! Allow at least an hour to make your lantern, but you are welcome to stay as long as you like.
