Your child must be able to ride without stabilisers to attend.You will need to complete a booking for each of your children separately.About the Bikeability Level 3 courseThis advanced training for children aged 11+ takes place in more complex traffic environments. Our instructors will support children to build the skills to cycle wherever they want, whenever they want. To attend, your child should have completed Level 2 and be a regular cyclist.We cover how toCheck your cycle is roadworthyUse the best riding position for any situationRide alongside other cyclistsRide on more complex roadsNegotiate more complex roads. For example, junctions controlled by traffic lights, multi-lane roads or cycle lanesRespond confidently to changing hazards on the roadBikeability Level 3 should only be booked once your child has completed Bikeability Level 2.Course lengthThis course is three hours long.Who can take part?Level 3 course is for school years 7, 8 and 9.Our instructorsOur instructors are qualified to teach children to the ‘National Standard for Cycling,’ as defined by the Department of Transport.
