Event Description:
Right at Home Swindon is inviting our local community to join us for a gentle, feel-good walk through the beautiful Lydiard Park in support of Alzheimer’s Society.
This event is all about coming together, raising money, and showing our support for people affected by dementia. Alzheimer’s Society is a leading UK charity providing vital help to individuals and families, and funding research into better care and understanding of dementia.
On Thursday 15th August, we’ll walk side by side in a show of unity. It’ll be a relaxed and inclusive route suitable for all ages and abilities. Whether you’re walking in memory of someone special or just fancy doing something meaningful with your morning, we’d love to see you there. Friends, families and dogs are welcome too.
💙 Our fundraising goal is £150, and every pound raised helps to support life-changing work.
