Think like a fish and learn how to tie flies that will mimic local insects so you can test them out on the water! We will discuss fly fishing in our area and tie 2-3 flies first. Then we will work on casting techniques before taking those skills to the water with your very own flies. All equipment provided, this program runs rain or shine and dress for the weather.

Location: Oak Openings Preserve, Buehner Center.

If you catch any rainbow trout, you are welcome to take those fish home with you. All other fish are catch and release only. Bring a cooler of ice if you would like to keep your trout.
