A regular on BBC Radio Cymru and BBC Radio 3’s Soweto Kinch: ‘Round Midnight, Kat has been hailed as a rising star, with ITV Wales recognizing her debut Live EP with The Siglo Section as the first original Welsh-language big band tunes to exist. The Siglo Section, an 18-piece powerhouse, is breathing fresh life into the big band tradition, fusing classic jazz with contemporary influences, modern funk, and original compositions. Led by the dynamic duo of Matt Lush and Loz Collier, this collective of South Wales’ finest young musicians has become a force to be reckoned with, delivering electrifying performances that celebrate both heritage and innovation.
