What are you ready to stop carrying?

Sometimes the things that hold us back can feel like links in a chain—old patterns, fears, relationships, expectations, regrets, limiting beliefs, emotional attachments, or cycles we keep repeating even when we know we are ready for something different.

Breaking the Chain is a symbolic and experiential ceremony designed to help you identify what you are ready to release, physically break your connection to it, and consciously choose what you want to carry forward instead.

Jessica Kozak Shaw and Kathleen Taylor will guide you through an evening of reflection, intention, sound, energy work, and ceremony.

⛓️ Creating Your Chain
Each participant will create a personal paper chain. On individual links, you will privately write the thoughts, patterns, experiences, fears, habits, or energetic attachments you are ready to let go of.

Your chain becomes a physical representation of what has been weighing you down or keeping you connected to the past.

? Breaking the Chain Sound Ceremony
Once the chains have been created, Jessica and Kathleen will lead the group through grounding, energetic clearing, and a guided release experience.

Jessica will then fill the room with the vibration of the crystal singing bowls as you begin physically breaking apart the links of your chain.

One link at a time.

One intention at a time.

One choice at a time.

As the sound builds around you, you will be invited to tear apart the chain and symbolically declare:

This no longer has to hold me.

? Release & Let Go
The broken pieces of your chain will be gathered and brought into a closing release ceremony.

Through fire, sound, intention, and a powerful final gong release, we will symbolically transform what has been released and create space for something new.

But this ceremony isn’t only about what you’re leaving behind.

You will also be guided to identify the qualities you want to step into next—perhaps freedom, courage, peace, confidence, forgiveness, self-respect, love, clarity, or a completely new beginning.

Leave with a small crystal to serve as an energetic reminder:

The chain may be gone, but the wisdom remains.
