- **Event Description**: Power of Drums is a predominantly adult, community, African drumming group that meets on the second Saturday of the month, at Hill Street Baptist Church, Swadlincote, Derbyshire DE11 8HL.

Note: Children under 16 can attend but are to be accompanied by an adult. (Prior arrangement only).

We are a friendly and fun group that is usually lead by Andy Harris, who is a knowledgeable and experienced fun facilitator, who also runs a drumming group in Nottingham.  We also have Milla & Kaye leading who are also are experienced and fun facilitators. 

You do not need any musical experience to join the group, just a willingness to enjoy yourself.  

We have drums you can loan and plenty of percussion instruments to play too. ??

Ear protection is advised as it can get quite loud and we have free earplugs you can have. 

The sessions are £7.00 each and include drum loan and refreshments.

Drumming is a great way to release stress and help with anxiety and you will come out smiling after the session. 

The hall has access for disabled persons and parking is limited outside by there is a huge Morrison's car park very near with three hours free parking.
