What is a Strategic Plan, anyway? 🤔
A strategic plan is a roadmap for how the City prioritizes initiatives and investments, and guides the actions of the Mayor, Council and City departments to achieve the goals set forth in the community vision. A strategic plan goes beyond physical planning, such as the 2040 Comprehensive Plan that was adopted in 2019 and is focused on land use and managing growth. A strategic plan hones in on all the other things the City and its partners can do to make Suwanee a great place and respond to the needs and priorities of its residents, workers, and businesses, including economic development, parks, public safety, youth, culture, the arts, seniors, transportation and communication.
