BBC’s Bob Harris frequently champions Annie’s music on his BBC Radio 2 Country show, on which Annie has made several guest appearances. Bob, who described Keating’s songs as “Wonderful, heartfelt and real” has booked Annie for two of his prestigious ‘Under the AppleTrees Sessions’ and even held a private house concert while she was here last year!

With the release of her breakthrough album,“Belmont” in 2008, Keating has been growing in stature and reputation, having released 11 critically acclaimed studio albums. A staple of the contemporary Americana scene, Annie Keating writes and sings like a woman who knows deep down that heartache is the price of hope, and she can make us believe, in a way that only the best artists can, that all of it is worth the cost. 

Performing as The Annie Keating Band, the line-up will feature,twice nominated AMAUK Instrumentalist of the Year, rising star Joe Coombson electric / acoustic / slide guitars (Yola, Jaime Wyatt, Kaura Evans, Robert Vincent,Sam Morrow and Lynne Hanson); Scott Warman on double / electric bass (Demi Marriner, Alice Wallace) plus Jamie Dawson on drums (The Dreaming Spires, Steady Habits, Speedbuggy USA).
