Join us for an evening that will change the way you see your city.
Caring Encounters invites you to explore the urban environment like never before, a wild evening where we’ll uncover the hidden natural world thriving on your doorstep.
Did you know that more than 16,000 species call Greater London home? From bats and beetles to beavers and storks, the capital is teeming with life and is far wilder than most imagine.
Citizen Zoo will share stories from their groundbreaking rewilding projects, bringing back beavers, water voles, and white storks to the city’s landscapes. These ambitious efforts are reshaping what’s possible in urban spaces, helping people reconnect with nature and building a more resilient future for both wildlife and communities.
Expect an evening filled with inspiring tales of rewilding: from the return of lost species to simple, everyday actions that help nature recover. Come and uncover the extraordinary natural histories unfolding all around us, often unseen, and leave inspired to play your part in rewilding our shared future.
CARING ENCOUNTERS sessions are a #PayWhatYouCanAfford talk, Q&A and includes a delicious meal dished up from our little, plant-based kitchen. They are open to all the family. We want to help people reconnect and deepen eco-literacy among our community. Please invite everyone you know. Any donations help us to pay the costs of our guests and the food, but more than anything we want you in the room. So PLEASE come even if you are not able to pay anything.
See you there x
