Gerald Charles Dickens—great-great-grandson of Charles Dickens—returns to Massachusetts to kick off the East Coast leg of his American tour with his acclaimed one-man performance of A Christmas Carol.

Through expressive storytelling and dramatic versatility, Dickens brings to life all twenty-six characters of the classic ghost story. With just a change of voice, gesture, or posture, he conjures the vivid world of Ebenezer Scrooge, the Cratchit family, and the spirits of Christmas past, present, and future—igniting a sense of wonder and tradition that defines the season.

This two-hour performance (including intermission) is brought to the United States by Byers’ Choice Ltd., and since 2009, has found its cherished opening stage here in Sutton. Because of the nuanced and theatrical nature of the show, we recommend it for ages 8 and older.

Enhance Your Evening with a VIP Experience
We are pleased to offer a small number of VIP bistro tables for two, located directly in front of the stage. These intimate tables provide a uniquely immersive vantage point for those wishing to experience the full theatrical impact of the performance. Each VIP table ticket includes seating for two (one ticket per table).

After the Curtain Falls
Immediately following the performance, Mr. Dickens will engage in a live Q&A session from the stage—offering insights into both the production and his family’s remarkable literary legacy. Please note that a formal meet-and-greet will not take place this year.

Holiday Cheer Beyond the Theatre
A cash bar (beer, wine, hot chocolate, as well as soda and water) will be available before the performance and during intermission. Looking for dinner? We invite guests to explore our outdoor Yuletide Wine Garden, offering a curated seasonal experience (Christmas sausages, pastry Chimney Cakes, and German baked goods) before or after the show.
