Originating from Cornwall, England, the hearty beef pasty has been a beloved staple for centuries—once prepared as a portable meal for miners and now cherished around the world as the ultimate savory hand pie.

In this hands-on class, you’ll learn how to prepare the classic flaky pastry dough and create a flavorful beef and vegetable filling. Each participant will craft their own pasty from scratch, shaping and sealing it in the traditional style. You’ll take your uncooked pasty home, ready to bake and enjoy fresh from your oven.

To make the experience even more delicious, your first glass of wine is included with the class—perfect for sipping as you cook, laugh, and learn.

This class will be taught by Summer Laurin of Penn Valley.  Join us for a cozy, flavorful evening of food, fun, and wine!
