This parade is a great opportunity to showcase your livestock projects with 4-h/ FFA or present your OHSET drill team sponsor flags! In the past we have also enjoyed western themed cowboys vs. Indians groups, neighboring rodeo queen courts, cart ponies and even little ones dressing up their dogs. 

We hope to see everyone there!


Parade Participation route/lineup information:

Registration begins at 8am-10am at 2 locations. Please see line up location info depending on group type!

-Groups on foot (bands, cheer groups, horses, 4H etc. ): Park trailers in the field next to 460 S Comstock Ave, Sutherlin, OR 97479. (Event coordinators will be nearby if there’s confusion). Plan to have someone drive livestock trailers to rodeo grounds to pick up animals afterwards. Animal groups must have a designated “pooper scooper” following them to clean as they go.

- Vehicles/Large motorized floats/ classic cars etc: Register/ lineup at the intersection of Hastings and Taylor Ave. 

These vehicles will follow on the tail of the group when they meet up at Duke and S Comstock.

Floats, commercial and vehicle groups from Taylor Road will enter S Comstock 10 minutes before 10 (0950) to start making their way up towards Central Ave.

Fire Truck
Queens
Cheer Groups
4H
All other walkers


Fire Truck will lead off parade, blocking vehicles in front, Fair Oaks Fire will bring up the rear, blocking the rear of the parade.
Blocking teams/ police vehicles will bound from street to street to clear traffic, making it possible to maintain a clear route through town, ending at the City Park.
Each cross street will have barricades posted.
