June 12th, 19th, and 26th (9 am - 12 pm each day)

FREE, thanks to a generous donation from Foley Contracting LLC.

Registration is required by calling Bridgette at 503-354-7006.

The bootcamp days are intentionally broken up to encourage attendees to practice what they've learned at home and then be able to apply it in the following session. This will allow them the opportunity to find their personal weak spots, where they are then able to reach out to an instructor who can assist them in finding applicable resources. Although not required, participants will be encouraged to practice 1-2 times a day for a maximum of fifteen minutes. The frequent repetition allows for increased muscle memory for both the horse and person, and the time constraint prevents the horse from becoming bored and sluggish. There will be at least three instructors each day to increase the hands-on individual instructions. All instructors have been taught using constructive criticism methods and are very direct/clear on the instructions they give. They will be flexible and adjust teaching to the needs of the participants.
