We will be hosting our Rain Barrel Fundraising Event!  Place your orders (https://rainbarrel.ca/chipmangarden/) by June 5, 2026 and pick up from us any time between 12p-3p on SUNDAY, JUNE 14, 2026.  Delivery is available to addresses within the Municipality of Grand Lake for an additional fee after the event, but you are HIGHLY ENCOURAGED to still come join us for the event even if you're getting any orders delivered! 🌧

THIS EVENT IS FREE FOR ANYONE IN THE COMMUNITY TO ATTEND 💚

The Chipman Community Garden became a reality on June 14, 2012... that's right!  We're celebrating 14 years! 🥳

Gary Glenn will be bush hogging the plot for the NEW Chipman Community Food Forest as soon as the ground has dried.  This space will be open for the community to come together and introduce edible native perennials and all sorts of yummy goodness for the future.  We will all have a space to slow down, connect more, and forage for food.  There will be an official ribbon cutting ceremony for the Food Forest so that it can share the same anniversary as the Garden! 🍄

With the higher chances of frost behind us,  the Seedling Swap Station will be officially open for the season.  Everyone is welcome to bring any extra seedlings they couldn't make room for this year, and everyone is welcome to browse what's up for grabs if they DO have space to grow in! 🪴
