Take time to rest during Advent and after the busyness of Christmas. Experience the gift of meditative prayer and expression through watercolour painting. We will also dialogue with the Lord through journaling. This workshop series is for those who want to take an intentional pause for reflection.

Learn how to encounter Christ and rest in His presence through prayer, meditation, writing and art.

Please bring along a notebook or journal and a bible if you wish to refer to the scripture readings. These workshops are open to all, regardless of artistic ability – no previous painting experience is required.

For those grieving the loss of a loved one, job, or relationship, Christmastime and post-holiday blues can be challenging to navigate; know that you are not alone.

In the sessions, we will:

?Spark conversations with Jesus through journal writing
?Calm the mind through art by painting with water colours
?Create a personalized piece of art
?Learn how to create a personal prayer space and open your heart to hear God’s voice through the power of rest and prayer
