Time: 4:15 p.m. sharp (CHANGED from 4:45 p.m.) we start our walk. 5:20 p.m. sharp we board the train.

Place: Bear Creek Park
Address: 13750 88 Avenue, Surrey BC. 

Park: closest to the pool or playground. They are located on the southeast side of the parking lot. Parking is free.

Meet: outside the entrance to the train building. It is a 5 minute walk from the parking lot. The path to the entrance building is on the left, southeast side, of the playground and running/walking track. 

DETAILS:

1) Flat rate tickets are $12.50 per person (no discount for seniors or children), and are non-refundable for this rain or shine Meet. 

2) Dogs of any size or breed are free--as this is family and friends event! They can either sit on your lap, or on the floor in front or beside you.

3) Tickets are prepaid to me, Cathy Tingskov, via e-transfer sheltiecat@gmail.com  security word: sheltie 

4) UPDATED TUESDAY NOVEMBER 25, 2025 Now that the time has been upped to 4:15 p.m. sharp, they may have room for additional people to attend. Please private message or text me, Cathy Tings, by this Friday November 28, 2025.

5) We will go for a lovely walk in the park, followed by meeting back at the train station at 5:20 p.m. sharp to board the train.

6) The Grinch will also be available for photos, and there is a small store inside the train's building for purchase of hot drinks, goodies, etc., all at very reasonable prices.

7) Optional: wear holiday attire for both you and  your dog(s)

8) The park trails are fully accessible, flat with no stairs, for strollers and mobility devices. The entrance to the train building has an accessible ramp for those with mobility aids needing to board the train.
 
9) If you're unable to ride the train, we welcome you to join our walk! No preregistration for the walk is necessary.

BRING:

1) Flashlights for yourself, and dog lights(?), as the park is not lit in many areas.
2) Umbrellas(?), warm clothing, etc.
3) Water and treats for your dogs.
4) Cash for fundraising items.
