Join us as we explore the Goat Cave Karst Preserve! We will do a Walk and Talk learning experience followed by a light-maintenance work day.
* We will walk the preserve learning about the history of Goat Cave Karst Preserve, the flora and fauna in the area, the importance of Austin’s caves and karsts, its underground life, and groundwater flow through the Central Texas aquifers.
* Following our educational exploration, we will work on trail maintenance and trash removal.
* The trails are rough and uneven so be sure to wear sturdy shoes with good grip. Bring a water bottle.
* Bug spray and sunscreen is recommended
* Trash bags, grabbers, and gardening tools will be provided.
