Welcome to The University of East-West Medicine!

Founded on 1998, we have been focusing on Integrative Health and Medicine, including Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western medicine. Our mission is to guide and inspire the community by offering Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) as a valuable alternative to Western Medicine, and supporting students on their journey to becoming leaders and exceptional practitioners of TCM.

We aim to enhance human wellness in the combination of education, innovation, and exceptional patient-centered care.

Learn more about Admission requirements and how to become a licensed acupuncturist:

• Dual-Degree program: Master and Doctor of Acupuncture with a Chinese Herbal Medicine Specialization (MAcCHM + DAcCHM) program
• Doctor of Acupuncture with a Chinese Herbal Medicine Specialization (DAcCHM) program

Enter the programs with an educational background of 60 semester credits/90 semester credits.

Federal Financial Aid is available to eligible MAcCHM students.

The University of East-West Medicine prepares students to become licensed Acupuncturists in the state of California and Nationwide.

Graduates of our MAcCHM program are eligible to sit for the acupuncture licensing exams:

• California Acupuncture Board License Exam (CALE)
• National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) Certification Exam

美国对针灸师的需求不断增长。国际医药大学培养学生成为加利福尼亚州和全国的持证针灸师。中草药专业针灸硕士毕业生需通过美国加州针灸委员会(CALE)和美国国家针灸和东方医学认证委员会(NCCAOM)的认证考试，才能成为执业针灸师。

入学资格：满足60个大专以上学历的学分，即可申请中医硕士学程；90学分即可申请中医博士学程。

符合条件的中医硕士 学生可获得经济援助。
