🔴Refunds will be given until the 4th of December as to not temper overall prize for participating players. Dropouts on/before the 4th of December are eligible to receive a full refund. If you foresee not being able to attend, PLEASE request a refund as there may still be teams willing to sign up!

🔴If you don’t make it to the tournament on time, it will be a DQ and money will stay in the pot.
🔴Lets be respectful guys. Disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated.
❌❌Players will be given (2) warnings per game. If you or your partner are DQ'd then the opposing team automatically wins the game.
❌❌Grounds for automatic DQ are: Hitting, threatening, or throwing handball or object at the referee's, opponents, or person standing by.
❌❌ Getting DQ'd will prevent you from entering future events.

*****************Tournament Rules*****************
⚫️Games are set to begin at 10:00AM.
⛅Check-in time will be from 9:30AM-10:00AM for ALL players
🔴 If a team is not ready to begin at the designated time, then that team has 10 minutes to get on the court before being DQ'd. They will loose a point for each minute they are not ready to start the match. GENTLEMEN WE NEED TO BE PUNTUAL IN ORDER TO MAKE SURE THIS EVENT FINISHES.

⚫️ If a team fails to show up on time to watch the lines or refuses to participate, then their following game will begin (5-0) to their opponents favor. ****Multiple violations will be deemed lack of sportsmanship and will DQ a team****
⚫️ Steamball does not have official rules the following will be guidelines to this event:
1. Any player in the game may request a "fresh" ball at any point before the score is called. If the referee deems the ball "dead" he can change the ball. 🔵💨
2. Players must make their own calls. Only calls required by the referees are "Out Ball", "Contact with the ball", or "Ball On". Head referee will call score to commence the volley. No timeouts/wipes after score is called.
3. A "HOLD IT" call by a player stops the play. The head ref will make the call as to Valid or Invalid Call.
4. This is a non-contact sport. If player is physically hit during the volley, he HAS to call HOLD IT and if the referee determines contact it is a point/down. YOU CANNOT TAKE YOUR OPPONENT OUT OF THE PLAY THROUGH A STRIKE.
5. If a referee has made a mistake with a call, the volley will be replayed with the serving player having 2 serves. (a) If the referee is certain of his call you may still appeal, (b) if the linesmen overrule their call then they may overrule the head referee. (c) If all referees are unable to determine a final call, it is a dead play.
6. The ball has to be heading towards the direction of wall for it to be a block. If an opponent is clearly obstructing the path, then slightly striking it the opponent will be deemed making it to the wall, first part of this rule must apply. (Referee will make the final judgement call)
7. You CANNOT talk during your opponent's shot or point if you are in their line of sight. (Down or Point)
8. Due to limited personnel & budget, unless the Referee is negligent and is clearly making one sided call then we will change a referee.
9. Each team receives 3 Appeals. Players should only communicate with head referees for calls. Asking any line referee for a CALL is an appeal, ONLY the head referee should ask their linesmen their opinion.
10. Each team receives 3 Timeouts, lasting 2 minutes each. Please keep equipment within close proximity.
11. Wipes will be 10 seconds, abuse of time and delaying the game will be met with warning.
12. All Matches will be to 21 including the FINALS.
PROTECTIVE EYEWEAR IS NOT MANDATORY BUT HIGHLY RECOMENDED 👓
